The successor of the more primitive, manual Dermaroller, Dermapen is a small hand-held electronic skin-needling device. Dermapen offers a far more comfortable treatment and 100% more effective results than its predecessor.
The practitioner controls the depth and speed in which the tiny micro-needles enter the dermis. The head of the Dermapen is approximately 1cm in radius, enabling the practitioner to micro-needle around the nose tip and eyes at the depth that’s needed. Dermapen clients experience fantastic results with very little down-time.

How does Dermapen work?
Micro needling with Dermapen is a method of skin rejuvenation that stimulates the skin's own repair mechanism. The Dermapen creates micro-punctures in the upper-most layers of the skin. This tricks the body into believing a trauma has been sustained, triggering the skin's production of collagen, fibroblasts and elastin - the foundations of youthful skin.
How quickly will I see results from Dermapen?
Dermapen clients experience a slight exfoliation of the skin in the first few days. This will be followed in the subsequent weeks by a refreshed and smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles.
Dark circles under the eyes will appear lightened. A course of treatments is always advised for the best, lasting results.
Pre-treatment advice
In the days leading up to a Dermapen treatment, retinol and glycolic skin products should be avoided. Avoid sun beds or sun exposure. In the 12 hours before treatment, avoid autoimmune therapies or products.
On treatment day avoid make-up. A simple moisturiser is advised.
